Terms of Service (TOS)

This TOS is for all Apple Pie Films, LLC publishments, including TV-APPS and Websites.

We publish Movies Plus, TMN TV-APPS, under teh Apple Pie Films / Apple Pie Films, LLC developer account aka (Apple Pie) on Roku, and Amazon Fire TV…but there’s more:

We’re also on Fire TV and Android/Google TV, so this TOS applies to those platforms too.

And we operate several websites, all part of our TV-APP presence, again all owned and operated by Apple Pie Films, LLC.

The METRO FILM Festival (and this website) works in tandom with Movies Plus TV websites and Apple Pie Film, LLC TV Apps and Websites.

Including: Star Trek Continues Phase 2, The Movie Network, Art House Movies, The Screening Room, Badass TV, Film Fest Best aka Film Riot, Movies Plus and Movies Plus TV, and (IFC the USA film collaboration/Film Cooperative.)

We don’t collect any information when you use our TV Apps, channels or related websites. You may contact us at anytime to talk about issues, concerns, and posting your content (or anyone else’s content including copyright concerns. IMPORTANTLY, see our Privacy Policy if you are concerned!

We stream indie made films and TV shows. Movies like Star Trek Continues are produced by fan-owned studios, and this is noncommercial in nature — meaning, we DO NOT MAKE ANY MONEY either directly or indirectly.

Festival particulars are below, and they may change at any time, so please see our page on FilmFreeway for the most up to date information. That being said, here’s a little blurb:

“Metro Film and TV Awards” and (MetroFilmFestival.com) referred to as “Metro.” is hereby granted the right to utilize Art or a (1 minute or less) excerpt from any film or multi-media file submitted and accepted for exhibition. The excerpt will be used (only) for publicity and promotional purposes on the Metro website, Apps, and related blogs, social media, and related Connected Television platforms.

The individual or corporation (You) submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to submit the film for consideration, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Metro from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

You are responsible for any clearance required of the content you submit. (Metro suggests you follow E&O guidelines.)

You understand that Metro is not a traditional festival and Metro honors participants on a varied schedule (seasonal, monthly, annually and/or bi-annually) and deadlines are indicated on the Metro entry form and/or detailed in “TO SUBMIT OR NOMINATE A FILM” section. This unique event is an international awards competition.

The undersigned is responsible for providing Metro with an up-to-date email address as judging results letters will be sent emailed about four to six weeks after the final deadline to all participants, i.e., to those who were granted awards and those who were not granted awards.

Free digital downloads of Metro laurels will be made available to all winners but Statuettes, Plaques must be purchased. Participants are under no obligation to purchase an Award.
